On stage this fall

The halls are alive…with the sound of music! There are many important dates to mark on your calendar as the Viterbo Theater and Music departments prepare for an exciting semester of performances.

In celebration of the first musical produced on Viterbo’s stage in 1971, Rogers and Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music” will be performed on October 14-16.

The classic tale of Maria, a postulant who becomes a nanny for the von Trapp family in pre-World War II Austria, is a heart-warming story that never grows old.

“Dead Man’s Cell Phone” will be performed in the Black Box Theater on November 11-12 and 17-20.

A hilarious comedy that explores mortality and a technology-crazed world is a must see for the Viterbo Community.

This semester you can also look forward to performances by Platinum Edition and 9th Street Singers; Viterbo’s vocal jazz ensembles, as well as many piano recitals and operas.

All of the dates and prices for events can be found online at http://www.viterbo.edu. Head to the Fine Arts Center Box Office to book your tickets in advance!
